Committee Purpose: Provides primary fiduciary and governance functions for the Partnership, including setting overall strategic direction, overseeing budgeting and financial management, executing contracts and agreements, establishing and overseeing committees, setting meeting agendas, and collaborating with the municipality
Design Committee
Committee Members: Paul Ostergaard (Chair), Mara Dowdy, Rick Sabeh, Bill Callahan, Betsy Benson, Joe Bevins, Dorene Ciletti, John Bendel, Hilary Wheatley
Committee Purpose: Implement innovative and functional design strategies in Mt. Lebanon while collaborating closely with the community to establish best practices and foster a vibrant business district.
Economic Vitality Committee
Committee Members: Jim Bentz (Chair), Mara Dowdy, Andrew Flynn, Chris Heck, Pat King
Committee Purpose: Research, develop and assist in implementing short-term and long-term initiatives to: (1) assist Uptown business owners in sustaining and growing their businesses; (2) attract new businesses to Uptown that are economically viable, needed by the community, draw consumers to Uptown and enhance the experience of visiting Uptown; (3) encourage an increase in the residential population in and immediately surrounding Uptown; and (4) make Uptown more comfortable, accessible and attractive to a broader spectrum of people, including newcomers to the greater Pittsburgh area.
Events & Promotion Committee
Committee Members: Chris Reidenbaugh (Chair), Annie Skiba, Tim Steinouer, Susie Bradley, Linda Topoleski, Dorene Ciletti
Committee Purpose: Provides strategic direction for the creation and implementation of promotional events that increase foot traffic to our two major business districts. This includes the marketing plan to execute these promotions.
Grants & Funding Committee
Committee Members: Chris Heck (Chair), Chris Reidenbaugh, John Bendel; Dorene Ciletti, Annie Skiba
Committee Purpose: To provide coordinated and efficient methods of funding for all sanctioned events, projects, and other initiatives of the Mt Lebanon Partnership (MTLP). Also responsible for funding in relation to MTLP’s long-term strategic goals.
Volunteer & Board Recruitment Committee
Committee Members: Betsy Benson (Co-Chair), Dorene Ciletti (Co-Chair) Chris Reidenbaugh, Lee Heckman, Linda Topoleski
Committee Purpose: Expand community engagement to achieve the Partnership’s vision, including Board member nominations and selection, adding non-board volunteers to Board Committees and increasing volunteers for our events. This committee includes the official Nominating Committee of the Board.
